How to Stop Staph Bacterial Infections in Pets

Dogs

The most common type of staph infection seen in dogs is staphylococcal dermatitis, which is a bacterial skin infection that causes the skin to become red and inflamed. This type of bacteria resides naturally on the skin of dogs and humans, where it remains dormant as long as the skin is healthy.

What does a Staph Infection look like?

Here I’ll save you a trip to the vet to figure it out. It looks like this.

Poor Tippy…

We had an older dog named Tippy.  Yes she’s now gone to dog heaven recently due to old age. She was a great dog and never did have any health issues most of her 16+  years, but as she got older she began to have chronic Staph Infections all over her body. As she aged she could not fight the infection as well on her own so we needed to get her to the Vet more often. We had her on antibiotics to kill the staph bacterial infection every other month. This plus the office visit got pretty expensive. Like $175 every two months. We did this for over 3 years.

Additionally it was not easy to get her to take the pills. She got very smart after awhile. We tried pill pockets, cheese, lunch meat, etc. Eventually she would eat whatever we used to hide the pills and drop the pills around the house on the floor. It was very frustrating to say the least.

Structured Silver

We had to start looking at other options. We had recently joined a Network Marketing Company called Juuva who came out with a product called Trusilvr. It is a Structured Alkaline Silver liquid. It looks like water but believe us when we say it is very powerful at killing bacteria on contact.

We would spray a couple of spritz of silver, twice a day on her various infection sites on her belly and back. Within days the infection would disappear and the skin would regrow back in very nicely. Within a few weeks the hair was back to normal in the affected area and she was in great shape again.

To prevent the infection from returning we would reapply once or twice a week on her belly, which seemed to be the most susceptible areas. We did this for over 24 months and we kept her infection free. We saved a ton of money and trouble. One bottle was way cheaper than a single trip to the vet and lasted for a very long time as you are only applying it periodically and you don’t really use very much. Most importantly Tippy was feeling better than ever.

Now it’s available in a gel too, so that it will stay on the infection area for a much longer time-frame versus the liquid. Either way, it will work great for you too.
